Working with Dates

Farming is a lot about doing things on the right date, and working out what date that should be. This simple exercise will show you how to calculate with dates; I hope you will soon be able to apply what you learn in this exercise to real situations on the farm. One dairy farmer I worked with on this exercise very quickly adapted it for herd management, with service dates, drying off dates, calving dates, vaccination dates, etc. all following on from each other, just like a breeding board.
